Pronimen Products & Procurement
This section provides an overview of Pronimen’s product range, technical specifications, and procurement process. All products are designed, prototyped, tested, and approved in-house before release to production. The range spans telecommunications, data centre infrastructure, military, rail, and construction.
Both standard catalogue items and bespoke designs follow the same five-stage engineering pipeline: brief, prototype, test, approve, release. Technical datasheets, engineering drawings, and approval documentation are available on request. For production lead times, see Production. For freight and shipping routes, see Shipping.
- Standard and bespoke product lines serving telecoms & data, military, rail, and construction sectors
- Full technical documentation including GA drawings, CAD files, and material specifications
- Field-tested prior to catalogue release, with products undergoing extended trial periods in real deployments
- Single point of contact from initial enquiry through to delivery and post-order support

Related FAQ’s
Yes. The product range carries network operator approvals across all catalogue lines. Operator-specific approvals are held where designs were developed for a particular network. All products conform to applicable EU directives and international standards.
Yes. Bespoke and custom-designed products follow the same five-stage engineering process as catalogue items. The customer is involved at each approval gate, from the initial design brief through to production release.
The range covers five core categories: fibre optic products, enclosures and cabinets, copper and coaxial, cables and connectivity, and accessories and fittings. Products are deployed across telecommunications, data centre infrastructure, military, rail, and construction.
Yes. Technical datasheets, engineering drawings, approval certificates, and installation guides are available with every quotation or on request from the technical team.
The procurement process follows five stages: enquiry, specification and quotation, PO confirmation, production with QA, and dispatch with tracking. A detailed breakdown is provided in the Procurement Workflow section below.
Product Engineering
Design & Engineering Process
Every product in the Pronimen range follows a structured five-stage engineering process. The objective is to ensure that each design is fully validated against its intended operating environment, mechanical requirements, and regulatory standards before entering production.
The process applies equally to standard catalogue items and bespoke designs. Bespoke products involve customer sign-off at each gate before advancing to the next stage.

Procurement Workflow
How to Procure from Pronimen
Pronimen operates a direct procurement model. The same team manages the process from initial enquiry through to delivery, providing a single point of accountability throughout.
Procurement Routes
Three procurement routes are available, determined by product type, order urgency, and project requirements.
| Route | Typical Timeline | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Catalogue | 15–20 working days | Off-the-shelf products, routine orders, proven product lines |
| Expedited / Priority | 5–10 working days | Urgent infrastructure needs, network outages, critical replacements |
| Bespoke / Custom Design | Variable (project-dependent) | Operator-specific designs, new product development, patented solutions |
Technical Specifications
Installation & Environmental Considerations
Every Pronimen product is designed around the conditions it will operate in. Below is an overview of the key technical parameters considered during the design and specification process.
IP Ratings
Products are rated to the appropriate IP standard for their intended deployment. Street-level cabinets and enclosures typically meet IP54 or IP55 requirements; indoor distribution products are rated accordingly.
UV Resistance
Outdoor products are manufactured with UV-stabilised materials to prevent degradation from prolonged sun exposure. Material grades are selected based on the deployment region and expected lifespan.
Operating Temperature Range
Products are tested and rated for the temperature extremes of their target environment. Standard operating ranges span -25°C to +70°C, with extended specifications available for extreme climate deployments.
Mechanical & Load Ratings
Enclosures, brackets, and structural components are load-tested during the design stage. Wind loading, static load capacity, and impact resistance are verified against the relevant standards for each application.
Material Selection
Materials are specified per product: GRP and stainless steel for corrosion-critical environments, flame-retardant plastics for indoor enclosures, copper or aluminium alloys for connectivity and cable products.
Compliance & Standards
Applicable regulatory standards are identified during the design brief. RoHS, REACH, EU directives, and operator-specific requirements are addressed prior to production release. Documentation is provided with every order.
Engineering Documentation
Technical Drawings & Documentation
Engineering drawings and technical documentation are produced as part of the design and quotation process. These are bespoke documents prepared for each product or project and are not publicly available for download. Drawings are issued to the customer during the specification and approval stages.
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings in PDF format with full dimensions and tolerances
- Material specifications and finish schedules per component
- Assembly drawings for multi-part products and enclosure systems
- Installation guides with mounting detail and recommended fixings
- Technical datasheets covering performance, ratings, and compliance data
All drawings are project-specific and issued as part of the engineering process. For bespoke products, drawings go through a formal revision and approval cycle with the customer before production is committed.
Sector Applications
Products by Sector
Pronimen’s product range serves five core infrastructure sectors. Each sector has specific technical requirements, and product selection is guided accordingly.
