Production

Pronimen operates multiple production facilities across China and South East Asia, manufacturing infrastructure equipment for the Telco & Data, Military, Rail and Construction sectors. This multi-region model provides production flexibility: the ability to initiate, scale, or transfer production to an alternative facility at short notice in order to maintain output and meet delivery commitments.

The average production lead time is 15–20 working days for standard orders. Simpler components in plastics, steel, copper, or alloys are produced more quickly; multi-stage products such as cable assemblies and enclosures require additional time. See also Products & Technical Data and Shipping & Freight Times.

Pronimen Production

The average production lead time is 15–20 working days for standard orders. Simple components may be completed within 5–10 days, while complex multi-stage products such as cable assemblies and enclosures typically require 20–30 days.

Yes. Expedited production is available for urgent requirements, network outages, or critical replacements, typically within 5–10 working days. Availability is subject to current capacity and product complexity.

Pronimen is headquartered in Hong Kong with production facilities distributed across China and South East Asia. Each facility is equipped for specific manufacturing processes.

Yes. The multi-facility model is specifically designed to support this. Production can be transferred to an alternative site or region at short notice to maintain output levels and delivery schedules.

Quality assurance is applied at each stage: material verification on intake, in-process checks during build, and final inspection prior to packaging. Each production line operates with an external customised line-check. Reports and material certificates are available on request.

Manufacturing Process

Manufacturing Pipeline

Pronimen’s production network covers facilities across China and South East Asia. Each facility is equipped for specific manufacturing processes: injection moulding, cable assembly, sheet-metal fabrication, or enclosure construction. Orders are allocated to the facility best suited to the product type and required output.

This distributed model supports production flexibility. If one facility is at capacity, production transfers to an alternative. Volume increases are accommodated by scaling across multiple regions. Expedited orders are prioritised and scheduled accordingly. View product specifications ›

Step 01
PO & Scheduling
Upon PO confirmation, the order is allocated to the appropriate facility. A production schedule is established with key milestones, and confirmed timelines are issued to the customer.
Step 02
Material Intake
Raw materials are sourced, received, and verified against the approved specification. Supplier certificates and batch numbers are recorded for full traceability throughout the production run.
Step 03
Production
Components are manufactured on the designated production line. Multi-stage products proceed sequentially through specialist lines; for example, a cable assembly may be braided at one facility and terminated at another.
Step 04
Inspection
Finished goods are inspected against the approved specification. Functional testing (dimensional, mechanical, optical, or electrical) is carried out as required. Pre-shipment inspection reports are available on request.
Step 05
Packaging & Dispatch
Goods are packed to export standard and palletised for the agreed freight method (sea, air, or hybrid). View shipping & freight options ›

Lead Time Comparison & Facility Overview

Lead times vary by product complexity, material type, and build stages. The tables below provide indicative timelines and facility capabilities.

Production Lead Time Comparison

Product Type Typical Lead Time Materials QA Level
Simple Components 5–10 working days Plastics, steel, copper Standard inspection
Standard Products 15–20 working days Mixed materials, alloys Full QA + testing
Complex / Multi-Stage 20–30 working days Cables, enclosures, GRP Full QA + stage checks
Bespoke / Custom Design Variable (project-dependent) Per specification Full QA + client sign-off

Production Quality Assurance

Quality assurance is integrated throughout the production process rather than applied solely at final inspection. Materials are verified on intake, in-process checks are conducted at each build stage, and finished goods undergo final inspection prior to packaging. Each production line operates with an external customised line-check to ensure output consistency. For product-level approvals and certification, see Products & Technical Data ›

  • Material Verification – raw materials inspected and certified upon receipt
  • In-Process Checks – stage-by-stage monitoring during multi-stage production
  • Pre-Shipment Inspection – final quality check prior to packaging and dispatch
  • External Line-Check – customised external quality checks on each production line
Material Traceability
All material batches are logged with supplier certificates, batch numbers, and intake records retained on file. Documentation is issued with the inspection pack on request.
Functional Testing
Products are tested against the approved specification: dimensional accuracy, mechanical loading, and electrical or optical performance as applicable. Non-conforming items are rejected and documented.
Compliance Check
Each production run is verified against applicable regulatory requirements and any operator-specific compliance criteria specified at the order stage.
Pre-Shipment Reports
Photographic documentation, dimensional inspection reports, and packing manifests are available prior to dispatch for customer review and sign-off.
Defect Handling
Non-conforming items are isolated, documented, and either reworked or rejected. Root cause analysis is conducted and defect rates are recorded for each production run.

Custom Tooling & Mould Production

For bespoke products and new designs, Pronimen commissions dedicated tooling and injection moulds as part of the production setup. Tooling is manufactured in-region, tested, and approved before the first production run. Tool ownership and custody arrangements are agreed at the quotation stage.

  • Injection mould tooling for plastic enclosures, fittings, and housings
  • Press tooling for sheet-metal cabinets, brackets, and structural components
  • Extrusion dies for cable sheathing, conduit, and profile sections
  • Jig and fixture production for assembly line accuracy and repeatability
  • Tool maintenance schedules to ensure consistency across production runs

Expedited Production & Order Visibility

For time-critical requirements, Pronimen offers an expedited production route. All orders, whether standard or expedited, are tracked through the PO tracking system with milestone reporting throughout.

Expedited Production

Expedited orders are scheduled on a priority basis at the most suitable facility. Production can be completed within 5–10 working days for standard product lines, subject to current capacity. Expedited requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis, and a confirmed timeline is issued before PO commitment.

Capacity & Scalability

The multi-region production network supports rapid scaling. Additional capacity is accessed by distributing production across multiple facilities simultaneously. This model accommodates both small-batch orders and large-volume infrastructure rollouts within the same lead-time framework.

PO Tracking & Milestones

Every purchase order is assigned a tracking reference and reported against the following milestones: PO confirmation, material intake, production commencement, inspection complete, packaging, and dispatch. Milestone updates are accessible via the Pronimen PO tracking system.

Milestone Reporting

Procurement teams receive milestone notifications at each stage. Pre-shipment photographs, inspection reports, and packing documentation are available prior to dispatch. Full documentation packs are issued upon request at any point during the production cycle.
