15th April Update 8.45 am

All backlog orders have been processed and are out for delivery – May I thank you, thank you, thank you for your patience and wish you all the best with home training.

Without wishing to sell, yet if the corona drags on and you wish to expand your home fitness equipment, I have some brand new items for the UK market right here.

Please allow us a few days to prepare photos, videos and listing etc,,,,, yet for those interested in long term home fitness, my email is (fitness@pronimen.com). If you would like to be added to hear about new items (( we won’t and don’t send marketing, promos, or junk, and we never pass on addresses to anyone – please do the same for us )), though if you would like to know when new stuff comes available, ping me a mail and you will be the first to know.

Once again – Thank you, thank you, thank you, your patience has helped alleviate my own stress levels :-)

Kindest Regards

Dave

14th April Update 11.30 am (Hip Hip Hooray)

They have arrived – I/we are unpacking, assembling and repacking immediately – Your goods will be ready for departure (( later today )) and your own tracking number will propagate ASAP.

Please bear with us,,,,,, there’s quite a backlog – but we promise to get stuck in to this today.

Kind Regards

Dave

14th April Update 10.45 am (GOOD NEWS)

According to DHL, the shipment will be delivered today.

You may see the tracking details below and notice the waybill number changed (DHL changed it without informing us until 10 mins ago). That said, it probably the first time we happy (I mean ecstatic) that DHL did this.

Provided that delivery turns up today, the goods will be turned around as quickly as humanly possible, even if that means working into the small hours.

We will be back to update later today

Kind Regards

Dave

13th April Update 2 pm

In the words of DHL Hong Kong, (we spent 4 hours going back and forth this morning and not until we demanded a refund) they came back and stated the goods will leave today or tomorrow.

Posted below is 1 waybill of 2 – Both waybills are on the same shipment therefore we have posted just one. This is the live tracking update and as soon as the shipment moves, it will show up here. .

9th April SECOND Update 1.45 pm

In the words of DHL Hong Kong, currently in the warehouse there is a “Mountain to clear” and it will be processed in a respective order.

There was no confirmed lift off, yet they verbally suggested a possibility for Sunday or Monday.

Attempting to remain optimistic at the same time realistic. Movement is likely to happen during the next 3-4 days. Provided that happens, then we ought to see them latter end of next week of which they will be immediately sent out to you.

Though, if you do wish to cancel then that’s totally understandable – please send a request and that will be processed immediately. Alternatively I’m afraid to say we just have to wait.

Kind Regards

Dave

9th April Update 11.45 pm

DHL have confirmed that the goods are being held over in Hong Kong (for unknown reasons – though it’s most likely due to the Coronavirus grading non-essential verses essential goods).

DHL UK confirmed that once given the go-ahead, it will be approximately 2-3 days to arrival.

We are now telephoning Hong Kong directly to encourage them to release the goods, and while it doesn’t help. Please know the same situation is happening for most other people, businesses and goods coming from around the world.

It’s highly frustrating to know the goods have been manufactured on time, sent to port on schedule and we are now at the mercy of “logistics” whom appear to be determining what does and does not get delivered. At first we thought this was due to the Covid-19, though connecting with employees and other businesses alike, it appears logistic staffing isn’t an issue, plane availability isn’t an issue, and delivery isn’t an issue this side.

What’s holding things up?

We don’t know, yet according to all involved, there are warehouses and warehouses of goods stacking up with unsent goods that have no rational explanation as to why they are not moving.

If you wish to cancel that’s totally understandable – please send a request and that will be processed immediately. Alternatively I’m afraid to say we just have to wait.

Dave

7th April Update 11.30 pm

DHL Delivered the N95 Masks which were ordered weeks AFTER the fitness sets – Allow us to explain.

DHL driver just delivered the masks which were ordered after the fitness sets, yet to the best of our knowledge “the masks were placed on the same flight as the fitness products”. DHL driver said that DHL were picking and choosing what to deliver on a random basis, yet as the MASKS were labelled MASKS considered a priority, they came first.

That said, there was NO update on the rest of the delivery which in all fairness could of arrived at the DHL depot, we just don’t know. Nevertheless, as you will see from the screenshot below, yesterday there was no update, not even a flight path, yet  – suddenly and after the physical delivery of the masks today the web-route and delivery propagated on the DHL website – they also split the waybill number to separate the delivery.

As confusing as that looks, it means the rest of the goods may well of arrived in the UK and are awaiting a warehouse-person to say – Deliver them (at least that’s what the delivery driver just stated). He also said that his van was now empty and he would ask about the rest of our shipment when he got back to the depot.

While there is a tendency to attribute DHL’s delayed actions and reactions to the CoronaVirus, truth conveyed, they operate like this on a normal day. The upside of that being, the goods could arrive at anytime now.

Kind Regards

Dave

For Info Only…. we are not cashing in on selling masks (we can’t abide that kind of selling),,,,, however a few masks were are allowed to fly in (as personal items irrespective of masks now being heavily restricted) personal use is OK and our intention is to pass them on to those really need one. They cost £3.75 each (cost+flight+duty) and they will be passed on for the same.

6th April Update 12.30 pm

Probably spent more time progressing this shipment than anything else this morning.

Afraid to say that DHL,((though perhaps due to the current situation)), yet there is not ONE live person to answer calls, the automatic web updates are not refreshing, so we are left with as much information as you at the moment.

We are expecting the goods, and while that if frustratingly infuriating, DHL have a habit of dropping packages off then stating the updating system doesn’t always work. We are hanging onto the positive possibility that may be the case and the goods/package is already on their way.

Kind Regards

Dave

4th April Update 11.30 pm

NO CHANGE!

I have called DHL several times and each time I am given a different story – My feeling is that the DHL staff are doing their best, and they are not to blame but they really don’t know left from right. That said, this isn’t unusual as its normal for the goods to keep showing in HK and then be in the UK….. at this point in the day I don’t know if that’s the case, or if the goods are still in HK. The next few days will be telling.

If you wish to cancel then that’s not an issue, please just send me a request and I will process that immediately. Like yourself, I am very frustrated and do not wish to keep hoping, then announce a further delay. Truth is, things are moving, we just don’t know the speed and when it will arrive.

The above said and it will make no difference to your current order (as that’s already on the way) yet yesterday we were advised (( may I stress the word advised and it wasn’t delivered as code red )) we were advised that cargo flights are reducing and that future orders will increase in price, and decrease in frequency. If Corona doesn’t go away and decreased cargo transpires, the future of things is going to change.

P.s. While it’s Sunday, if a change and positive development happens, I will be back to post it later. Otherwise I will be back to update this tomorrow.

Am I expecting the

2nd April Update 3.30 pm

GOOD NEWS :-)

The goods have now arrived in Hong Kong

They were not scheduled to go via HK, though this is good news.

15.48 is HK time – It’s 7 hours ahead of the UK, therefore this was 8.46am UK time.

You may notice the goods are scheduled to go from HK to Birmingham to Stone – Again, great news…… hopefully they will here sooner rather than later.

P.s. I will be back to update this tomorrow.

1st April Update 3.30 pm

Why has the price increased?

Please note: if you ordered or reserved before April 1st, then the old price remains (we will honour the price we quoted and sold at)

For new reservations and orders placed from April 1st onwards, it is with great frustration that we must announce no other choice but to increase the price. We are so, so, sorry about this, though the reality is such that premiums are being charged by Air-Freighters and we simply cannot soak them up.

Future orders arriving by sea ought to come at a more reasonable rate, though as I write, we really don’t know that either. Sea freight is a minimum of 35-42 days, factor in port clearance and UK delivery, normal lead time can be 6-8 weeks from today. i.e. Mid to late May 2020. On the other hand Air-freight is anywhere between 5-14 days, factor in customs clearance, normal lead time is 14-21 days (( from point to point )). This is why we air-freighted the incomming batch, but have since been hit with an unforeseen price increase (yes I feel angry at that).

If we refused the price increase and then sent them via boat, the price would be normal, but they would take another 6 weeks-8 weeks – One may get a sense of our frustration here. It’s a catch 22 – keep the price down and send them by sea (6-8 weeks) or accept the price increase and receive them by air-frieght inside 2 weeks.

We took the air-freight.

P.s. I will be back to update this tomorrow.

Kind Regards

Dave

31st March Update 11.22 am (sorry about yesterdays date)

Delivery schedule update:

The good are still awaiting take off – we expect that to be later today, or through the night.

Aside from the current order and it may or may not concern you. Yet the way prices are increasing (which we have little to no control over the raw material ingredient cost and cargo costs) but the way that’s dramatically increasing, it is quite likely all products (including fitness) will double and possibly treble in price.

Today we were quoted on materials for one item: Chest push ups which normally cost £2.99 increased at 6am this morning to £21.65. An exercise mat normally £20 increased to £50 and the list goes on. Yup,,,,, it’s insane price increases which one could hardly believe ourselves and quite frankly I would refuse to pay. Then there is cargo, normally £3-6 per kilo, shot up to just over £11 per kilo, and while these prices will most likely apply to future orders, rest assured what we have coming through will be at the price you reserved it for – We are just sharing this information so you know what’s going on behind the scenes.

P.s. I will be back to update this tomorrow.

Kind Regards

Dave

29th March Update 12.30 pm

Delivery schedule update:

There’s no change since yesterday – Which in all honesty,,,,, is a good thing :-)

Aside from the delivery schedule, maybe it’s an ideal time to explain Ebay’s new Coronavirus rules – That is, Ebay do not normally allow a seller to show items that can be reserved ((as there is just NO reserve, or backorder function with Ebay )), and when a seller turns an item to OUT OF STOCK, then the entire advert disappears so the buyer cannot see it. The advantage of this is such that a buyer cannot be duped into buying an item that’s not in stock, the disadvantage is that the entire advert disappears from the site leaving those that are prepared to wait unable to reserve, or place a backorder.

The only way an OUT of STOCK item can still show up on Ebay is when a seller pushes the dispatch time out to a maximum of 30 days, but unless the buyer looks closely at the items estimated delivery time, (not the postage, but dispatch time) then the buyer may not notice. To make things more complex…… a seller can list the item as IN STOCK and then still put 2-3 days delivery, but they may not have the item in stock at all,,,,, this allows them to send it from overseas locations such as India or China which then takes an average of 3-4 weeks.

The buyer wouldn’t normally be aware as to how long delivery will be as they rightly think it will be 2-3 days ( per the listing),,,, but when the item doesn’t turn up, normally a person would wait an extra day or so to allow for late post, but when the item doesn’t come, normally a week or so has elapsed.

Now lets say a week has gone by and the item that was advertised as 2-3 days delivery but it didn’t arrive ….. the buyer then contacts the seller, and the seller takes another 1-5 days maybe even longer to answer a message (tactical delay). Then let’s say the buyer receives a SORRY, and that the order got lost so they will send another out (another tactical delay), or lets say the seller doesn’t answer the mail at all and the buyer has to raise a dispute through Ebay. Now the buyer is into a time game which can go on anywhere from 7 to 28 days…… Eventually and 9 times from 10 the item will arrive inside 3-4 weeks, or in the middle of a dispute. The seller then apologises and the Ebay case is closed. Everyone is happy, except the buyer who waited 3-4 weeks but ends up sort of pleased the item eventually arrived.

End result – The buyer waited 3-4 weeks and the seller got away with it. Not saying it’s Ebay’s fault, or this happens all the time, just that the way Ebay is structured (especially during COVID-19) and with the the dispute time frame,,,,,, it allows a seller to create a “loop hole”

COVID-19 – Since the coronavirus, and to help….. Ebay have relaxed their rules, and now allow a seller to leave the item on sale, even if that item isn’t in stock, it can still be left on sale. Ebay now allow (for good reasoning) to push the dispatch time to a max of 30 days and that the seller does NOT have to inform the buyer (because they assume the buyer will read the finer details). Yet rarely do people read the finer things, they views pics then click and buy.

The reason we put reserve and did not follow Ebay’s advice was to be 100% honest.

That honesty has turned out to bite us in the bottom as a number of buyers have placed orders then cancelled a few days later stating they seen it for 2-3 days delivery elsewhere, which is not an issue. Yet for every cancellation we get charged 5% PayPal fees (Ebay fees are zero)…… PayPal charge 5% and that equates to costing us approximately £20-£30 in cancelled orders per day, and the reality (during the cover-19 and only where certain fitness items are in high demand) yet the reality is that other people don’t have stock either (but use the Ebay loophole to state 2-3 days delivery knowing full well it’s not in stock).

However, we accept that…. we really do, but also felt honesty was the better policy so the advert reads RESERVE instead of IN STOCK.

Hope that explains a little more about our actions and why we placed that reserve picture on there while showing in stock.

P.s. I will be back to update this tomorrow.

Kind Regards

Dave

26th March Update 2.30 pm

Delivery schedule update:

The 11 piece 125LBS materials have passed through cargo customs and are now awaiting clearance for departure. We expect them to arrive in Hamburg (( where most all products pass through )) mid next week…… hopefully the Germans will check them off quickly (as they are not quarentened items) and release them for the UK. Sorry it’s frustrating though please be aware it’s a little bit of a go slow for all cargo at the moment.

MASKS

We can now share with you that production for our certified N95 disposable face masks has been completed and they will soon be ready for sale on Ebay. Like all products at the moment, it’s by reservation (( but as time goes by, we will make certain that regular supplies are forthcoming )). There isn’t a product page yet, though one will go up in the next few days – The masks will be pretty reasonably priced, as it’s an offering from us, at this challenging time.

The major reason we are taking to manufacture face masks (( which we have veered away from until recently )) is because we feel this Covid-19 could be a game changer for life ,,,,, we are not sure about that, yet it cannot help to prepare and for those who do not wish to rely on Chinese sellers, who post from 6000 miles away taking 3-4 weeks to arrive.

For those unfamiliar with Chinese Sellers who on occasions dupe Ebay customers, here is an article that may help – If you like it, please share it

Please note: you may also reserve new incoming items listed above through our shop on this website Home Fitness Shop

P.s. I will be back to update this tomorrow.

If you have ordered/reserved from Ebay – Thank you.

Please, please be aware we are doing our very, very best to get new stock here as fast as possible – As I write this, our staff are currently negotiating air-lifting your home fitness equipment instead of normal 42 days sea delivery.

Air-lifting will speed up the delivery which realistically means 2 weeks to arrival, yet please, please bear with us.

Dear Reader, Customer, Fellow Fitness Friend,

First off, our thoughts and prayers are for yours and your families wellbeing. They really are.

We also understand there may be more important things to attend to other than home fitness. This mail and offering is aimed at those who come through this challenge unscathed.

Background

Some of you will already know how much fitness and wellbeing mean have meant to my life, and that last year (2019), from what I can only describe as a labour or love, I entered the online retail fitness market. Predominantly Ebay.

While Dave’s day job as C.O.O for Pronimen Teleco & broadband/Internet manufacturing and he will continue to perform this role, with the recent Coronavirus outbreak, we are acutely aware that there is a great of people now working from home.

As you know, on March 21st 2020 gymnasiums also came to a temporary close, which for us, created a large upsurge in demand for our home fitness equipment. To put things as brief as possible, all stocks sold inside a few short hours of Boris Johnson announcing advisory closures.

Moving Forward

As a service to those that so desire, (and please be ware it is a labour of love for us) yet we pledge NOT TO increase, double, or treble any pricing of any items to our customers whatsoever. We pledge to offer a wider range of home fitness equipment which we were already in the process of doing so at normal everyday pricing.

The anticipation is that once food and basic living items are accommodated for and life has settled into that zone, for a minority of our fellow beings, attention may turn towards keeping fit at home. To accommodate that prospect, we have already forward ordered the following items.

100 x *Heavy Duty* 11 Piece Fitness Resistance Set (about 60 remaining)

50 x Resistance Bands Exercise Loop Crossfit Strength Weight Training Pull Up Band sets (about 40 remaining)

ADDITONAL ITEMS COMING BELOW

200 x Flexibars – (about 100 remaining)

Chest Press up Bars

Chest

And wider range of other home fitness equipment which will be placed up on the website as soon as possible.

Please, please be aware it’s a labour of love, a service, an offering. Sorry, it’s been reiterated 3 times, though it’s repeated because we suspect, prices may rise, and others make seek to make large profits. We WONT. Yet to keep pricing down, at the same time satisfy demand, you may understand forward ordering is necessary.

Our role is to be a responsible provider and support everyone through this difficult and challenging time. We will continue to support our telecoms/internet operators while extending that same principle to offer Dave’s much loved online hobby – “home fitness products’.

For the last time, may we outline without attempting to promote or hard sell, it’s a service offering to our fellow humans and we are just letting you know. We will not increase pricing, though our advise is to give fitness products some thought soon as who knows how much by and when prices will rise. We pledge not lower standards or quality. For those that know David, the emphasis has been to offer tried and tested heavy duty home fitness products at easy on the pocket pricing. He will continue with this philosophy.

Lastly

If it’s on your mind and we understand if it’s not, yet if fitness products have crossed your mind, and you are the least bit interested then pop on over to https://www.pronimen.com/retail or Ebay profile https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/davidgmorgan while its a very small offering, a very small service, we are most happy to help where we can.

WE DO, DO THE BELOW

Dave G-Morgan

Meet Dave

Dave has been a life-long fitness student, though during his years ageing, and to put it mildly “he spread out a little“. Too bodily conscious to attend a gym, around mid 2014 Dave began resistance training from home.

From August to December 2016, combined with an intensive home fitness program, Dave lost a total of 19.5KG. Since then he has managed to maintain both his new weight and physique. Yet having been a purchaser of several inferior fitness items, David began to search for a solution. A long story cut short, during 2019, Dave and a small team from Pronimen set about designing, sourcing and manufacturing fitness products themselves.
