Dear Boss – Can you feel the Love Generation?
There is a new generation of people
It’s a workforce of people who remain team driven, who are conscious of the company’s direction, yet from within the whole they express themselves individually, functioning from a platform of creativity, fuelled from a source of love.
Plug into your own self and feel it – The world is changing and the past is gone. What worked yesteryear, yestermonth, yesterday, is fast fading away. Continue with the old ways, the old path, and old methods, and frustration will ensue. Things have changed, and they have changed for the better.
Trust, faith, and understand that the business growth of tomorrow, relies solely on the encouragement, inspiration, and familiarization with new ways of motivating the new generation.
The past and the present
Employees of the past and the people of new present generation operate from two very different places.
Past way – Listen to, follow and do whatever is are asked of them. Whether or not the job, task, or outcome is right or wrong, they do it.
New way – Listen to, follow and do whatever it asked of them provided that the outcome is good for all.
The new way operates from 2 zones
1 – The heart
2 – Intuitiveness
Yet to clear up any confusion, we are not talking about the heart in a physical or an emotional sense, and we are not talking about love like that of a desire, or a personal relationship.
When given a task, the new generation exercise patience and understanding, compassion and empathy, and will only act upon and react to what feels right – They can, and will only move in a direction that’s good for everyone. That is, a win win win – It’s impossible to deviate from this. Yet to make absolute certain it’s the right decision, and it’s not attached to any emotional content, the new generation double-check by running that feeling through their heart, then through their intuitive-self, and while confirmation is instant, a brief buffer period is exercised before delivering their analysis.
Where they will disengage
Present the new generation with prolonged situations or circumstances of fear, stress, depression, mundane, or repetitive tasks, or ask them to engage with self, group, or company greed, or expose then to situations of selfishness and self-gain, or anything that disempowers, or brings harm others, and they will disengage – It’s impossible not to.
If a new generation is currently working for a company or business that is founded upon anything other than the energy of love, then their inner-self will be nibbling away at them to take action. It may take time for a love seedling to recognise this in themselves, yet for the good of their future, and for the good of all, they must take action – If you’re a boss and notice this, the advice is to take help them, or let them go to grow elsewhere – It’s a good sign.
What they will happily accept
As they grow most when confronted, faced with, or presented with a challenge, problem, or obstacle, the new generation will happily embrace and accept these situations and circumstances as a normal part of their day. However, to be certain the outcome and end result is a good for all, and to create a win win win, they require a little more time and private personal space. Give it to them, you will soon reap the rewards.
Money and promotion
While money and promotion are tried and tested methods of motivation, they do not drive the new generation.
Doing what they love comes first, doing it for the greater good comes second, and doing it for an income is a bonus – money is important, yet the new generation are not attached to it the same way generations of the past – motivating the new generation requires a restructure.
What motivates the new generation?
Their fuel is the energy of love, and the source that generates this energy comes from inspiration, beauty, peace, happiness, sharing, caring, compassion, understanding, faith, and trust.
As an example: A new generation salesperson cannot sell by old methods of parrot fashion convincing a buyer to purchase something that he or she does not whole-heartedly believe in, neither will the new generation buyer, client or customer warm to this.
The new generation salesperson and the new generation buyer both know what lies beyond the whites of each others eyes. The old way has gone, let it go. The new generation reach deep into each others psyche to sell and be sold, to buy and be bought from, to be sold to and receive in very different ways. They touch energy not materialism.
A new generation salesperson is less motivated by targets, goals, long-term planning, or material incentives. The same way a new generation buyer is no longer interested in hearing unique selling points, or savings and benefits. To motivate or sell this way is to guarantee sowing a low harvest.
Whether a salesperson, a ground worker, middle manager, or executive, the new generation flourish and thrive on operating for the greater good of everyone, including the company. They function first and foremost on the win win win for all. That is, a winning outcome for the greater good of everyone, a win for their personal development, a win for the company. In that order.
Whether it’s a client, customer, buyer, or purchaser, the new generation purchase using their sixth sense.
First and foremost they eek out VFM (value for money), disengaging from deception, manipulation, greed, egotism, and all forms of power and control. They thrive upon and are attracted to places, people, things and environments of peace, tranquility, truth, and happiness – New generation buyers love happiness, yet do not be fooled for that happiness cannot be faked – They will know it…… most of all new generation buyers, clients, customers and purchaser are supportive. They are loyal to their fellow humans understanding that all is one.
How to spot a new generation person
New generation people can be young, middle-aged, male or female. They can be ground workers, middle managers, or executives.
They thrive on self, team and group development. Whether they are a buyer, a salesperson, accountant, CEO, banker, HR Director, gardener, driver or anything else. They are open-minded people who possess the ability to be, do and become what they adjust their mind to.
Finally – You will know when you’re in the presence of the new generation – Their energy field is attractive and you might find yourself liking something about them, yet not sure exactly what.
They are lovely people to be around, and they don’t wear black socks!
